Overtime

Overtime The outcome for overtime is uniform for ALL DIVISIONS for GI, NOGI and Adult Absolute Divisions. All matches will have a 3 Minute time period. Please note that during overtime, you may win by a submission, the first one to score 2 or more points, or a referee decision. In an effort to keep each match fast paced and aggressive, an opponent may pull guard, but if you pull guard in overtime, the referee will award your opponent 1 point. You will not have lost the match, but if for some reason, you ended up standing again, and you were to pull guard again, your opponent would be awarded a 2nd point resulting in end of the match. The stalling rule will be enforced with ZERO tolerance. The referee will give you 1 warning. If you are called for a second warning, the match will be immediately stopped and the referee will automatically give the opponent 2 points resulting in in the loss of the match.
